  • Aim for accomplishments rather than perfection.
I am a person who puts a lot of pressure on myself, and when I don't succeed to my full potential I get angry/down. For example I am a very competitive golfer, and it's one of the hardest sports in the world so their is a lot of room for mistakes. The thing is, I used to not practice enough, and then when I play I am not amazing so I get angry. I have to teach myself that before I start becoming greater at anything I must practice/repetition before expecting to be a pro.

  • Take pride in your opinions and ideas.

When it comes to school and education in High School, I don't feel very confident with all the people around me with great GPA's or Grades. With everyone in our grade that is extremely smart I don't lie to raise my hand or volunteer in group activities. For example I was in a group activity the other with really smart people, so I stayed quiet and silent because I didn't want to embarrass myself with a wrong answer.

  • View mistakes as learning opportunities.

Everyone makes mistakes, everyday I do something that isn't 100% great, but I try my best to learn from it. Linking both of my other writing topics, my opinions, and accomplishments. If I improve both of those two topics I could greatly improve on learning from mistakes. If I volunteer more in groups I could learn to study more often and pay very close attention. For perfection I need to learn from what I do wrong to improve to get closer to becoming a stronger person.

Wellness Wheal

Physical - 9, I believe that I am very fit and active, but coming back from summer I haven't been as physical as I normally would if it was the middle of the year.

Intellectual - 8, I averagely focus in class and in activities but some days I am just to tired or distracted by something to make me not focus

Occupational - 8, I am doing pretty well in school, but I could do better with trying more and going in for more help

Social - 9.5-10, I feel that I get along with people very well and that I am a funny guy to hang around.

Emotional - 9, I find my emotional levels pretty good, I don't get really angry over small things and I don't throw temper tantrums over small things either

Spiritual - 7, I think I am weakest in this section of the wellness wheal, I don't really try to find purpose in my life right now. I just try to live in the moment and socialize, and still be educational at the same time.

Overall I give myself a thumbs up for my health. I can improve my health but those mainly have to do with mental health.
